What does Robin say to Batman? That depends on the situation. Robin always says "Holy [insert word here] Batman! Robin used this phrase whenever he was confused or surprised by what was happening in a particular scene. This phrase was hugely popular on the 1960s TV series, but the writers used it too much, and it became the show's demise, even though it slipped into popular culture.

In the Batman movies, this phrase was all but dropped, except for once in "Batman Forever," where Chris O'Donnell, who played Robin, said it to Batman. In the original series, Robin would often blurt out his one-sentence opinion of the situation after hopping out of Batman's Batmobile.
