Applying Mime Makeup

Mime makeup is an easy stage look to create. You'll only need three supplies: white face artist makeup, black eyeliner and red lipstick. Here's how to create the right makeup face for a mime.

Step 1: Prepare Your Canvas
Start with a clean face. Wash your face and remove all makeup. Men should also be clean-shaven.

Step 2: Whiteout
Apply a white base. Start at your jawline and work your way up to your hair line. Be careful around your eyes and lips.

Step 3: Bolding Brows
Make your eyebrows bold. Use the eyeliner to color in your eyebrows making them bold and helping the to stand out away from the white makeup face you've just created.

Step 4: Lining
Line your eyes. Use the black eyeline to carefully line the top and bottom eyelids. Enlist a friend to help if you aren't used to lining your eyes.

Step 5: Liplines
Line your lips. Again, use the black eyeliner, and this time draw a line around your lips to make them stand out from the white artist makeup.

Step 6: Pucker Up
Put on the red lipstick.
