Trial-and-Error With Drugstore Teeth Whitening Products

trial and error teeth whitening

Who doesn't want a brighter, more beautiful smile? Often it's the one thing that's remembered; more than anything else about a person. First impressions can be very important, after all.

Many people opt for teeth whitener treatments; either professionally done in a dental office, or by using one of the many over-the-counter brands available. Certainly the dentist office visits will cost you more up front!

As to which is best, in almost all cases the professional treatments are far superior to anything you can buy from the corner drug store. This is not to say, however, that these products don't work at all. Simply put, some do and some don't.

Teeth whitening products come in many different forms, such as trays, pastes, strips, and even a sort of paint that you apply directly to your teeth. The most popular seem to be the strips.

Common brands like Crest Whitestrips and Rembrandt have varying degrees of whitening; on average at least two or three degrees. You need to keep in mind, though, that some brands offer several different versions of their product, and what works great for one person may not for someone else.

Just for example, reviewers of Crest Whitesrips varied in their opinions widely. Some gave it high praise, while others said they didn't notice any difference at all, and that it was a waste of their money. Other brands and products had similar results.
