Radiology Technician Training

Radiology Technician Responsibilities
As a radiology technician, you'll take black-and-white images of bones and soft tissue for diagnostic purposes. You'll talk to patients about their concerns, communicate with doctors and nurses about x-rays and write up analysis of imaging results. You might also administer CT and MRI scans.

Radiology Technician Training
You can become a radiology technician with as little as a high school diploma and a certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Most technicians have a two-year associate's degree from a college or university and the certificate, so you'll want to pursue both of these if you want to maximize your salary potential.
