Make Sure You Know Your A.B.C's To Selling, Always Be Closing:

This is the mentality you must be in for every sale no matter what it is. The problem most people have in sales usually is because they don't know how to close. Do you feel like you spend so much time creating a flashy campaign or sales approach? Do you feel like you have told your customer everything you could on how your product can help them? In the end typically the potential customer browses, may even be satisfied with what they see or even will ask a few questions. The minute you let them go you have more than likely lost the sale. Someone who closes first observes the potential customer,  gets an idea of what there interests are. Next they move into their sales pitch which is always kept short and sweet so your customer has an idea of what your selling but has yet to become lost in your words. Quickly after your sales pitch you need to jump into closing, don't give the customer a chance to take your business card and leave, you want the customer to stay and finish the deal.

Knowing And Understanding Your Target Market:

Analyze the following to help better understand how to learn your market and what areas to focus on and target.

  • What is your product?
  • What is your target location?
  • What gender is buying your product?
  • What age group is buying your product?

Write out your answer for each of these to help give you the larger picture for when figuring out your marketing campaigns. It is important to know specifics about your customer, you don't want to be wasting your precious time on the wrong market.
