Ingredients You Will Need:
Cake:
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 eggs beaten
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda

Frosting:
1 stick butter/margarine
¼ cup milk
4 ½ cups powdered sugar
½ teaspoon almond extract
1 cup chopped pecans

Bring the butter and water to a boil in a large saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining cake ingredients. Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan. Bake at 355 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the cake looks finished. You can check by using a toothpick to see if it comes out clean. Set the cake aside and let cool.
