1 teaspoon baking powder

Combine the wheat bran with the buttermilk, and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Mix the canola oil, egg, sugar and lemon zest in another bowl until well combined. 2 cups yogurt
1 egg
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons canola oil
3 tablespoons maple syrup
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 ½ cups bran
1 ¼ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup raisins
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup chopped toasted pecans
½ cup slivered toasted almonds
