Easy Banana Pudding Recipe With Peanut Butter
Ingredients You Will Need:
1 package French vanilla instant pudding mix
2 cups whole milk
" cup creamy peanut butter
8 ounces sour cream
Chocolate wafers
6 bananas, sliced
Chocolate Cool Whip

Using a large bowl, prepare the pudding according to the manufacturer's directions on the box, using two cups of whole milk. Whisk the pudding gently but firmly. Slowly add the peanut butter and sour cream. Mix well, and then set aside.

Place the chocolate wafers on the bottom of a loaf pan, and then cover them with about one-third of the pudding mix. Place one layer of sliced bananas on top of the pudding and then add a layer of Cool Whip. Repeat the layers until you end with pudding on top. Use the remaining bananas and wafers as garnish. This recipe is best when it has a chance to chill for at least two hours.

Different Ways to Make Banana Pudding
Because pudding is intended to be smooth, you won't get the same feel to your banana pudding recipes if you chop up bananas and add them to the mix. However, you can use a food processor to puree bananas before adding them to your pudding. Once the bananas have been pureed, simply add the bananas to a box of vanilla pudding. You can also use banana extract and then add chopped bananas on top.

Banana flavoring can be added in the form of powder, also. Powdered bananas can be purchased in specialty shops. To make your own powdered bananas, dry the bananas first in a dehydrator, and then grind them with a mortar and pestle.
