The Best Chocolate Peanut Raisin Clusters Recipes

The best chocolate peanut raisin cluster recipes are those that can be created in your own kitchen. When you can know the freshness of the ingredients, you can determine the outcome of the product.

If you don’t already have a specialized recipe for this type of candy, find a generic recipe, and tweak it a bit. Make it your own so that each year you’ll have special chocolate gifts to give.

Best Chocolate Peanut Raisin Clusters

Ingredients You Will Need:
7 cups chocolate bits, melted
1 cup peanuts
1 cup pecans
1 cup walnuts
1 cup hazelnuts
1 cup raisins
1 bag peanut butter chips (optional)

Cover several cookie sheets with parchment paper and set aside. You can make larger clusters or smaller clusters, depending on your need.

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. (You can melt the peanut butter chips with it, leave them in with the ingredients to remain as chips or omit them entirely.) While the chocolate is melting, mix the nuts and raisins together in a large bowl. As soon as the chocolate is ready, pour the nuts in with the melted chocolate, and stir with a wooden spoon until all bits are covered. Drop the clusters onto the parchment paper.

Depending on your preferences, once you have dropped the clusters to the parchment paper, you can spread the candy out a bit or mound it up. Set the cookie sheet in a cold area, such as the refrigerator, to chill and harden. When the candy has hardened, wrap individually or place in airtight containers.

For variations, use gourmet chocolate, or add coconut, crushed peppermint bits, crushed pretzels, other small candies, graham cracker pieces or crushed cookies.
