Making Coconut Coffee

2 cups of half-and-half

4 cups of brewed coffee, hot

Take the half-and-half and the cream of coconut and pour it into a small saucepan. Mix until the ingredients are fully blended. Then, take the pan and place it over a medium to low heat. Stir the mixture consistently. Next, stir in the coffee and mix until the coffee is fully blended with the coconut mixture.

Take the coffee mixture and pour into mugs. Add the sweetened whipped cream to the top of each mug. If you're feeling playful, consider adding small paper umbrellas to embellish the tropical inspired drink. Additionally, if you want to play around with the drink, you can also drizzle some hazelnut or chocolate, finely shaved, to the top of the drink. The sweet combination of the coconut and chocolate is sure to please, especially if you like your coffee sweet.

If you want your coffee stronger or less sweet, you can make it with espresso or with a larger percentage of brewed coffee. Experiment with the amount of ingredients to suit your coffee drinking preferences.
