Sugar and spice and everything nice is what you have when you make yourself some Thai coffee recipes. This drink is incredibly refreshing because of its zesty taste. If you're looking for a twist when it comes to your coffee, you should definitely consider ordering or making a Thai coffee drink. Who doesn't want coffee that is easy to make, will perk you up and has a dash of culture, sugar and spice?

Ingredients You Will Need:
6 tablespoons of ground coffee

5 teaspoons of cardamom
1/4 teaspoon of ground coriander
1 teaspoon of sugar
Whipped cream

Make sure that your coffee beans are finely ground and of high quality. Additionally, you want to grind up whole green cardamom pods.

Once you have your ingredients prepared, place the coffee and spices into the filter of your coffeemaker. You will brew the coffee as you would normal coffee. You will then let the coffee cool. While the coffee is cooling, take 1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar and dissolve it into an ounce of the coffee. You can know add the rest of your coffee. Add your whipped cream and you are ready to go!

Some people like to make an alternative version of this drink, iced Thai coffee. The process is largely the same. However, before you pour the coffee into the glasses, you will first add five to six ice cubes. Then, you will add coffee until there is about an inch of space free at the top of the glass. You will pour whipped cream onto a spoon and then add it to the coffee. This will keep the cream from dissolving too fast.

The more you make this drink, the more you will know about your preferences. If you like your coffee strong, you can lessen the amount of sugar and whipped cream used and up the amount of coffee. If you like your coffee sweet, you can up the levels of sugar and cream used.
