Strawberry Tea Smoothie

By: Rochelle Valasek

When I think about spring and summer, I think of big, red, juicy strawberries and nice cold drinks on those warm, breezy days. By taking out the ice cream and using low-fat vanilla yogurt, this cold smoothie is not only refreshing, but healthy.

Healthy Strawberry Tea Smoothie
This is one of those recipes where the amounts depend upon your taste and the amount that you want to make.

Add to blender:

  • 1 cup of brewed strawberry tea
  • Low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • Ice
  • Fresh strawberries

Hit puree on the blender and blend to the consistency that you prefer. If you feel that it is not sweet enough for you, you can add sugar substitute to it. If you don't feel like being healthy, you may add sugar or omit the yogurt and replace with ice cream. It is up to you.

Enjoy.
