Grill or oven roasted corn is sweet and smoky. Depending on the type and intensity of your fire, you can place the corn under hot coals or on a rack. Roasting corn cook time will depend on your fire and how big the corn is.
Ingredients You Will Need:
4 corn ears in husk
4 teaspoons margarine, softened
2 tablespoons parsley
1 clove garlic, cut in quarters
Preheat grill to high. Remove silk from the corn by turning down, but not detaching husks and pulling out silk.
Brush corn with margarine, sprinkle on parsley and place a piece of garlic on each corn. Tie husk back around corn with cotton string or twisty-ties.
Place on grill and turn once after about 10 minutes.
Organic grocers are popping up all over the nation, making organic produce available to almost everyone. But you need to know what to expect because organic produce doesn't always look like regular produce.
Organic produce refers to fruits and vegetables grown without conventional pesticides or fertilizers made from synthetic ingredients. It is grown on both certified organic farms and noncertified organic farms. Certified organic farms are required to follow United States Department of Agriculture organic farming guidelines, whereas noncertified farms are not.
