Basic Oatmeal Recipe with Fruit

Add some crunch and sweetness to your morning with this basic oatmeal recipe that gets its flavor from chopped apple and orange juice. This breakfast meal is also chocked full of fiber and calcium.

Ingredients You Will Need:
1 small chopped, cored apple
½ cup calcium-fortified orange juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
�" cup rolled oats (oatmeal)
¼ cup chopped walnuts

In a medium pot, combine all ingredients and bring to a fast boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer, stirring for five minutes or until oatmeal is cooked to the texture you like.

Serve while hot.

Makes 1 ½ cups.
