Pears with Roquefort Cream

Apples and cheddar are a pair that have been together for generations. This recipe takes that same idea but adds a gourmet twist by substituting pears and bleu cheese.

Pears with Roquefort Cream
Ingredients You Will Need:
2 tablespoons Roquefort Cheese (or your favorite bleu cheese)
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 ripe pear
½ lemon

Let the cheese come to room temperature and mix it in a bowl with the cream and cayenne pepper until it is smooth and creamy. Cut the pear in half lengthwise and spoon out the core. Rub the lemon on the cut side to prevent discoloration. Spoon the cheese mixture in the hole you made from removing the core and chill for about 10 minutes.
