Banana peppers, roasted

Cook the onion in the sunflower oil until it becomes transparent. Add the garlic and cook for another minute or two. Remove from heat. When the onion oil has cooled, pour it into a food processor along with the garbanzo beans, rice and tomatoes. Chop or pulse until the beans are nearly mashed, but some structure still remains.

Form into patties and refrigerate for at least one hour. Grill or fry.

Serve on a hamburger bun with spinach leaves. Garnish with roasted onion rings and banana peppers. Add a dill pickle and a little salt and pepper.
