Dairy

Meats

Produce
Fruits are loaded with sugar. Although fructose is natural, it is still a sugar-and yeast loves and thrives on sugar. A yeast free food diet will eliminate fruits. Vegetables, however, are acceptable and can be used to make juice as well, to help compensate a bit for the lack of fruit.

Grains
Breads can obviously be troublesome on a yeast free food diet.  You can find good yeast free breads at most health food stores, however, including millet and flax breads and sourdough breads. You can also eat most quick breads on a yeast free diet, as they are made with baking powder and baking soda rather than yeast. You can also find yeast free and sugar free cookies and crackers at health food stores.

Other grains are fine as well, including rice cakes, oatmeal, popcorn and shredded wheat, puffed wheat and puffed rice.

Keeping plenty of yeast free foods on hand to eat on their own or use in recipes will make living on a yeast free diet easy and filled with flavor and variety.
