The quickest Halloween costumes come straight from the store. Though they may seem cheesy, those plastic suits are finished and ready to be worn. The costumes usually come complete with cheap Halloween masks and any props needed.
Monster. If you don-t mind spending a few bucks, think about using cheap Halloween masks to create easy Halloween costumes for the entire family. Pick out some monster masks. Have everyone dress in ragged, old clothes and slip on their mask. You now have an entire monster family.
Ghost. The easiest and most popular Halloween costume is a good old ghost. All you need is an old sheet. Cut two eye holes in the sheet, and maybe a mouth hole. Outline the holes with black. Toss the sheet over your head and the costume is done.
Princess/Prince. You can wear almost anything to create a prince or princess costume. The only true requirement is to wear some sort of crown. If you don't happen to have one handy, there are several ways to make a crown.
For the easiest crown, take some aluminum foil and use it to cover a loop of cardboard. Add a few beads or other decorations and place the cardboard on your head. Now you have a crown and people will know that, if nothing else, your costume has something to do with royalty.
Caveman/Cavewoman. Any old animal print fabric you might have lying around can easily become some great costumes for men or women. Men can get away with wearing some jagged, animal-print fabric as just a loincloth or as a toga-looking garment.Women can go with the toga look as well, or use the bikini top and skirt style. Whatever the exact garments, just cut them out of animal print fabric and make the edges jagged. Tie, glue or sew the outfit together and remember: it's OK if it looks crude!
