Bacon Wrapped lil' Smokies
Ingredients:
Little Smokie Sausages
Bacon
Brown Sugar
Cut the bacon into 1/3 strips. Then wrap the bacon around the lil' smokies. Line a glass pan of your choice with the bacon wrapped smokies. Once the pan is full, cover the lil' smokies with a � inch layer of brown sugar. Bake in the over at 350 degrees for an hour.
Puppy Chow
Ingredients:
1 bag of milk chocolate chips (melted)
1 c peanut butter
Powdered sugar
Chex Cereal
Mix together the melted chocolate chips and peanut butter. Then, stir in the Chex mix. Place 2 cups of powdered sugar into a bag or bowl with a lid. Add the cereal and shake well.
Hush Puppies
Ingredients:
1 beaten egg
1 c buttermilk
� c finely chopped onion
� c water
1 � c cornmeal
� c flour
1 T sugar
2 t baking powder
1 t salt
� t baking soda
Blend together eggs, buttermilk, onion, water, and set aside. Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add the egg mixture to the corn mixture and stir until it is moist. Using a table spoon drop the batter into hot oil until browned.
Stock up on chips, crackers and veggies, and take a dunk into these dips.
BLT Dip
Ingredients:
2 c Mayonnaise
16 oz sour cream
2 packages of Bacon Pieces (not bacon bits)
5-6 tomatoes, diced and seasoned with salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients and serve cold.
Cheese Dip
Ingredients:
3 oz cream cheese
8 oz mayonnaise
8 oz of cheez whiz
Mix all ingredients and serve hot or cold.
Taco Dip
Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese
16 oz sour cream
1 package of taco seasoning
1 can refried beans
Shredded cheese
Diced tomatoes
Lettuce (chopped)
Mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning, and spread evenly on the bottom of a pizza pan. Next, add a can of refried beans into the pizza pan. Cover the top of the refried beans with the lettuce and tomatoes. Sprinkle the top with shredded cheese. Serve cold.
Your guests will enjoy snacking on this sweet and salty party mix.
Sweet and Salty Party mix
1 package (12 oz) Corn Chex Cereal
1 package (10 oz) Cheerios
1 package (10 oz) Honey Comb or Crispex Cereal
1 package of pretzels
Mixture of nuts
1 � c sugar
1 � c oil
1 � c butter or margarine
3 T soy sauce
2 T garlic salt
Mix cereals, pretzels, and nuts together in a large baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over the bowl of mixed cereal. Bake in the oven at 275 degrees for one hour and fifteen minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.
For a sweet finish this cake will score!
Better Than Sex Cake
Ingredients:
German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
� jar of caramel topping
1 carton of cool whip
Heat candy bar (crushed)
Bake German chocolate cake as directed on the box. After baking, let it cool slightly and using a straw or wooden spoon handle poke holes into the entire surface of the cake.
Combine the sweetened condensed milk and caramel. Pour over the top of the cake. Then, let the cake sit in the refrigerator for an hour. After an hour or so, cover the cake with cool whip and sprinkle the crushed Heath barn on top. This cake is best served cold!
