Celebrate Thanksgiving Day by making family crafts like this cute and purposeful Thankful Tree. Every member of your family tells one or two things that they are thankful for, and young kids can glue them to the tree. When done, you can display your Thankful Tree for friends and relatives to see what your family is thankful for this Thanksgiving season and always.

You Will Need:
Paper plate
Green tempera paint
Paintbrush
Card stock, various colors
Brown felt
Glue
Scissors
Marker, any color
Instructions:
Paint a paper plate green with tempera paint. Let dry.
While the plate is drying, cut out a tree trunk shape with brown felt.
Cut out leaf shapes from card stock. Make at least one or two leaves for every family member.
Have each family member write something that they are thankful for, one thing on each leaf. Use a marker to write these things so it will show up.
Once the paper plate is dry, glue the tree trunk down and then glue down the leaves.
Display your Thankful Tree wherever your family spends the most time, to remind all of you what you are thankful for!
