What is Climate Depot?

Climate Depot is a ‘living encyclopedia of climate news and environmental issues’. The website is the end product of Marc Morano, ex-environmental communications director for U.S. Senator James Inhofe. Mr. Morano, one of many global warming cynics, headed the website as a special project for the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT).

Climate Depot offers insight to the realities existing with climate change. Although the site is geared to direct an approach that is balanced on both sides, readers may sense an extremely negative focus toward Al Gore and his followers that are on the bandwagon that humans and bovines are largely responsible for global warming.

Climate Depot Conspiracy Theory

The biggest conspiracy theory that Climate Depot exposed is the news that global warming is actually a hoax commandeered among scientists. Climate Depot opened the decision to the public where they could determine their own opinion by posting emails and other documents that were anonymously sent to Climate Depot. These documents and information originated from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia. It may take some time to discern whether this revelation of information and its source, is a legitimate one.

There are several disturbing concepts to consider if this information is verifiable. First, the idea that scientists have been elusive regarding the truth on climate change and global warming (if global warming indeed truly exists – we now may begin to question); secondly, if scientist have produced false information for political sides and personal gain, how are we to believe other information. such as a cure for cancer doesn’t exist?

Climate Depot Could Make History

The Climate Depot website went live in the spring of 2009. While many may have underestimated members of Climate Depot as extremist ‘tree-huggers’ for the environment, their organization will possibly be making history in revealing a conspiracy courted by scientists, politicians, and government if the information revealed on the Climate Depot website pans out.
