Instead of freezing outside this winter, come in and make this delightful winter tree and pine cone clay pot craft idea. It is fun and easy to make.
Craft Difficulty Rating: Average
You Will Need:
2" clay pot
Polyurethane spray (optional)
Paint the clay pot any way you like. You do not have to paint the inside of the clay pot, but you can if you desire. You can make any design that you want. Let dry.
Place a pine cone into the clay pot. Find one that fits just right.
Paint the pine cone by gently applying white paint to the tips of the pine cone so that it looks like snow topping tree branches.
Let it dry and it's done.
You may want to spray your clay pot and pine cone with clear polyurethane spray to make it shine and keep the paint from chipping. If you do this, you should be able to keep your clay pot outdoors.
