Craft Difficulty Rating: Average
You Will Need:
Wooden doll head (craft store)
Scissors
Pink felt
Yarn
String
White thread
Permanent markers (assorted colors)
Instructions:
Wrap the pink felt to cover the wooden doll head. Make sure that the hole on the doll head is facing down. This is where your finger will go to work the puppet.
Tie a string around the bottom of the doll head. Make it tight. The rest of the pink felt will become the baby's gown.
Cut along the felt to create arms for the baby. Sew the arms with white thread. Now the baby will have two arms and a long gown. Trim the felt to make the gown as long as you like.
If needed, sew the gatherings on the side of gown to close up any gaps.
Use permanent markers to make a face for the baby.
Use yarn pieces to make hair for the baby. Now the project is done.
