Craft Difficulty Rating: Easy
You Will Need:
9" x 12" piece of construction paper
Crayons or markers
Scissors
Tape
Buttons
Sequins, glitter, stickers (optional)
Directions:
Cut a 9" square from a piece of construction paper, using whatever color you want the megaphone to be. Save both pieces.
Draw a line to round off one corner of the square and cut along that line. This will enable the paper to be folded into a cone shape.
Draw designs on your paper with crayons or markers.
Bring the sides of the paper together to a make a cone. Tape the edges together to secure. If necessary, cut off the tip of the cone to make an opening you can talk through.
Make a handle by cutting a 1" x 9" strip from the remaining piece of construction paper from Step 1. Make a crease at each end of the strip and tape the flat sides down on the megaphone.
Decorate the megaphone with extra items, such as sequins, buttons, stickers, etc.
Now you are ready to lead the circus.
