Millions of people all over the world connect themselves daily on the internet for many reasons, one of the reasons would be "Online Dating", many people are online trying to find that someone special, sometimes it works and sometimes, well, a situation could turn out bad s on and as on lady puts it; it was like "Nightmare on Elm Street". A lady named Michelle had been talking everyday to a man she met online.  They spoke everyday for six months.  They shared everything together; she claimed they felt closeness so close it felt as if they were in love, the time came when she decided  to meet him, they met in Washington DC, she and her sister took a flight there, in hopes to meet her prince charming whom she felt so infatuated with.  She arrived at the hotel; Michelle had a separate room from her sister and her online dating friend.  Her anticipation was making her feel overwhelmed, she thought about his pictures he sent her and all the conversations they had online.

The time came, as she was waiting with anticipation, there was a knock on the door, as she answered the door she was horribly surprised   she said this man greeted her, and he looked nothing like his pictures she had seen.  He wore coke bottle glasses as she described him; he wore jogging shorts, and a backwards baseball cap.  She said, "That he was so ugly it reminded her of "Freddie Cougar" on Nightmare on Elm Street.  She allowed the man in her hotel room; he started showing pictures of his family, as she sat there in terror horrified by this man's appearance.  They chatted, and the time passed, the man got tired and she told him to go ahead and lay in her bed.  As soon as the man fell asleep, she called her sister and took the next flight out of there.  Michelle claimed never again would she date online.

Another story was from a guy named Corey, he met a female online also, and they chatted every day, and spoke on the phone every day.  Then the day came for them to meet, he stated that they were supposed to meet each other at a Red Lobster.  Corey went to the restaurant met with his online date, and she did not appear like she appeared in the pictures that she sent him.  When Corey saw her, he was horrified and also claimed that he would never online date again. If a person wants to try online dating, there are many online dating sites that check the other parties' credentials and that way there will be no surprises.
