 To tell or not to tell that is truly the question a lot of people are asking, but what are you telling those nearest and dearest to you? Obviously you aren't making a big production out of telling them you got a new car, especially if you are reading this article. Coming out can be one of the hardest things you can do in your life, but it is more worth it than staying in the closet. So come on enjoy the sun on your face, the view from the other side is amazing.

Your parents don't hate you as much as they say they do, it's nearly impossible to hate your own child. Yes it is scary, some people aren't going to like the idea some may even curse at you or become violent, and it is wrong. For a time period you may lose contact with some friends or family and if they can't accept you for who you are they don't deserve you.  Sometimes people might offer you religious advice calling you a sinner.   No matter how much it may hurt to actually come out you will be so much more relieved when you do.  

Tips For Coming Out. Prepare yourself, practice what you want to say. Timing, a lot of times people make the mistake of doing so at holidays which sometimes works out, however a one on one approach might be best. Take it slow, don't rush yourself. Be brave, you shouldn't live your life in secret. Remember this can help benefit you and your lover, Come on there really isn't enough room in that closet for the both of you.
