When it comes to your wedding, you know you've got to have some fun and make it a very memorable experience. Planning parties and other events around your wedding is a time-honored tradition. When your bridesmaids throw your wedding shower, or bachelorette party, some of the fun things you can do are express your creativity while celebrating the occasion and making things that you and your wedding party will cherish for a lifetime.
Treats
Make it a bonding experience with your bridesmaids or maid-of-honor and host your wedding shower as a "cooking day". Bake cookies, and treats with your girlfriends while having wine. Make a two-tiered Devil's Food cake and hide little gifts inside the icing for your guests. Wedding cake charms are a traditional way of gifting your bridesmaids before your wedding. Just warn them before they bite into their slices of cake.
Naughty Games
Get creative and create some pre-wedding games that you and your bridesmaids will enjoy. One great idea is to make an adult spin on the popular birthday party game "Pin the Tail on the Donkey". To do this, simply acquire a Playgirl magazine, and remove the largest photo from the magazine, such as a centerfold. Pin the centerfold on the wall, and then using the same magazine, and a pair of scissors, cut out pictures of certain body parts. Blindfold your girlfriends and then enjoy the game. You can even rename it with terms such as "Pin the beef on the beefcake", or other risque' names, for your bachelorette party.
Party Animal
Make a scene! Instead of sitting at home, or at a friend's house making crafts and foods for your wedding shower, you can just go out for a night on the town with your friends and have the time of your life. Make it a theme night, and have you and all of your bridesmaids dress up to fit the theme. Fun ideas for your theme night on the town can include Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mardi Gras and anything else you can possibly imagine.
The duties of the bride and groom are explained. Your wedding is one of the definitive days of your life. But, before the big day happens, the groom needs to put in a lot of effort to help make things run smoothly. |
You are engaged, congratulations. Soon after you or your fiance accepted the proposal, the two of you need to start making plans for your wedding. Obviously the earliest decisions are when you will have your wedding and where it will be. |
