By using almost any decent stereo or boom box, you can come up with your own musical arrangements for the reception.

Select a long list of songs you want played at the reception and consider the order they need to be in. Burn a CD or download the songs to your choice of electronic musical devices, and everything is ready to go. Ask a member of the wedding party to be in charge of turning the music on and off at the appropriate times, and your DJ need has been satisfied at little to no cost at all.

Don't Waste Cash on Shipping
When it comes to selecting your food, drinks and even flowers, try to think locally. The cost for shipping a steak across the US is going to really raise the price for each guest's meal. Choosing locally bred chickens will give you not only a much fresher flavor, it will save you piles of money.

The same idea applies to your flowers. Exotic flowers shipped in from South America will require a fortune, so think instead of roses grown in a local hothouse. If locally grown roses are still too expensive, think about changing to wild flowers or another, cheaper floral arrangement.
