The College Basketball season is heating up and it will be March Madness time before we know it. Which college players project to be the top NBA Prospects? Where will they fall in the 2010 NBA Draft. Here is an early look at the top ten picks for the 2010 NBA Draft.
2010 NBA Mock Draft: Top 10 Picks
#1 2010 NBA Mock Draft- New Jersey Nets- John Wall Fr. PG Kentucky
John Wall has shown why he was one of the most highly touted high school players to play at the college level in some time. John Wall plays in the same mold as Derrick Rose with the Chicago Bulls. Wall projects to be a future All-Star at the NBA level and would be an immediate starter for the New Jersey Nets.
#2 2010 NBA Mock Draft- Minnesota- Derrick Favors Fr. PF Georgia Tech
If Derrick Favors is selected with the second pick of the 2010 NBA Draft like he was in this mock draft, then you would have two freshmen in the top two. Favors has explosive talents and has the word potential written all over him. Assuming he exits the college ranks after one year, he will find a spot in the Lottery.
#3 2010 NBA Mock Draft- Philadelphia- Ed Davis So. PF North Carolina
Ed Davis is the son of former NBA player Terry Davis and has the athletic ability to be a star at the next level. Davis is a tremendous shot blocker and should get plenty of exposure down the stretch playing for the popular UNC Tarheels.
#4 2010 NBA Mock Draft- Golden State- Cole Aldrich Jr. C Kansas
Cole Aldrich does it all on the floor and has developed into the top Center at the college level during his junior season. Aldrich will look to take the Jayhawks to a championship and follow it up with a lottery selection during the 2010 NBA Draft.
#5 2010 NBA Mock Draft- Indiana- Wesley Johnson Jr. SF Syracuse
Wesley Johnson is a 6'7" small forward with a 7 foot wingspan. He is a tremendous athlete and would be a great addition to a young Indiana Pacers team. Johnson has helped take Syracuse to higher level and appears to be a top NBA prospect for the 2010 NBA Draft.
