All-inclusive golf vacations are a golf-lover's dream. Free golf from morning to night, accommodations right on the green, no need to take out your wallet even once during the whole trip… a piece of heaven. If you're about to schedule an all-inclusive golf vacation, you'll want to look for the following features before you make your reservations:
How Many Courses are Covered?
While you may love to golf, you're not going to want to hit the same course every day. Find out how many courses are covered in your golf vacation package, how close the courses are to your accommodations, and if free transportation is provided from your hotel or villa to all the courses.
What Other Activities are Available?
While you may think you want to golf from morning to night, you may change your mind after a couple days of non-stop golfing. If you're traveling with a friend, partner, or family, you will want to look for activities you and your travel companions will also enjoy. Is there a swimming pool? A fitness room? Interesting places to tour? Beaches? Scuba diving? Tennis? Determine what you will want to do-aside from golf-and look for an all-inclusive golf vacation that will provide additional entertainment.
What Will Your Kids Do?
Here's a special note for those of you looking to go on a golfing vacation with kids. You'll want to make sure there is some sort of quality children's program with appealing activities. Make sure the kids' programs run during hours you'll want to golf and entail more than just coloring, movies, and some lame game room. Look for golfing classes for kids, supervised water parks, music video studios where the kids get to make their own videos, babysitting services, and truly entertaining activities you know your kids will enjoy.
How Much Variety is Offered?
Look for golfing resorts that offer a variety of restaurants and dining options, and make sure they are all included in the cost of your package. You'll want to compare sizes of golfing resorts and the variety of the courses to make sure you aren't going to end up leaving the resort just to find a good place to eat or something to do.
Can You Get Lessons?
Make sure golf lessons are free and not some extra charge. If traveling alone, see if you can hook up with a golf pro or partner up with other golfers on the course.
Will the Weather be Conducive?
There are some fabulous golfing vacation resorts in North Carolina, but you probably won't want to golf there most of the days in February, nor will you want to sweat it out there in August. Make sure you check the average weather forecast in the city of your choice for that time of year. While Mother Nature doesn't always play by the rules, you'll have a better chance of good golfing weather in Arizona for the winter and better weather in the Carolinas in Spring and Fall.
Ask the right questions and you'll ensure a perfect all-inclusive golf trip. Fore!
