There are different vacations in the Southeast for all ages. You can go to Georgia where you can visit the Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomas ville, Florida where you can go to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Mississippi where you can see where Elvis grew up, and Alabama where you can go to the Gulf Shores Beach to relax.
Pebble Hill Plantation is a huge two story plantation in Thomas ville where you can go walk the grounds and tour the plantation home. Some of the stairs and rooms are roped off though, but is nice to look at. You can see the exquisite molding and crowning in the home. It was first built back in the early 1820's. On the grounds, there is a car garage full of cars dated back to the early 1800's. What this plantation home offers is much more than ones you have seen in Savannah, GA. This plantation provides you with most of the original artwork and original moldings that it was first built on. It has been handed down from one family to another. The historical society in Thomas ville now owns the plantation home. It is lovely to look at in the summer times because all the flowers and trees are at full bloom.
Walt Disney world is located in Orlando, FL. It is near the Universal studios as well. Walt Disney world is all ways updating the theme park to suite there customers needs on there vacation. They have a camping site, golf course, and of course the three parks: Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. They have added the Hollywood Studio, Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon areas to the park. They have rides for all ages and is fun to do together as a family because you can do all the things you love to do together. They also have special offers that you can get so you can have fun with the family.
In Tupelo, Mississippi you can find the home where Elvis grew up in. On the same grounds, they also have the church he grew up in and inside they play a video of Elvis as a little boy playing the guitar in front of the congregation. Also, you can find headstones of all of his milestones in his life and career. You can also find the firt car he bought too. It is filled with Elvis's life and staff that just really makes it a pleasant visit for you.
On Gulf Shores in Alabama, lies a beach that is so relaxing and enjoyable. You can take moonlight walks on the beach or when the sun comes down and it be beautiful. If you do not wont to rent a hotel room, there are condo's at the beach as well. They are cozy condo's that can fit a family of six in there. You would have to bring your own food if you rent out a condo, but is worth it because they are right on the beach and are private so you are not bothered.
These are wonderful places in the Southeast to visit because they offer a variety of activities for people of all ages to do. The Southeast might be a bit warmer, but is comfortable if you are ready to enjoy it.
