Here's how to enable Java on your computer.
From Internet Explorer
If you want to enable Java from Internet Explorer, make sure you have the web browser open. Then go to Tools and select Internet Options. Next you'll choose the Advanced Tab and scroll until you come to Java. Check the box next to Java, then click the Security Tab. From here you'll choose the Custom Level button and make sure that the Enable button next to Scripting of Java applets is checked. Make sure that you click OK to save what you've done.
From Mozilla Firefox
Enabling Java from Mozilla Firefox is a bit simpler than it is from Internet Explorer. To enable Java from Mozilla Firefox, you'll again start from the browser. Click Edit, then Preferences. Now click on Advanced and check the box next to Enable Java. Make sure you save what you've done by clicking OK. If you have a more recent version of Mozilla Firefox, you'll simply go to Tools on the browser and click Options. Choose Web Features then click Enable Java.
From Netscape
From Netscape you'll open the menu bar and click Edit, then Preferences. Click Advanced, then select Certificates if you have an older version of Netscape. From there you'll check Enable Java, then Enable Java Plug-in. Click OK to make sure you save what you've done. If you have a newer version of Netscape, from the Advanced section click Enable Java and then OK to save what you've done.
