Some enable you to choose whether to change your icons, background or wallpaper; others automatically change everything based on the theme. Decide what parts of the theme you want to install, and then close out of your theme program.
Experiment with different themes.
You'll find plenty of themes out there, so don't be afraid to experiment with different themes to find the one you like. You can even install multiple theme management programs to handle themes designed for different software. Ultimately, themes don't take up a lot of space on your iPhone, so you can probably afford to install many themes to find the perfect one for your mobile phone.
