How to Clean Cache in Firefox

Here's how to clean cache in Mozilla Firefox. You may need to do this is because of an error with your computer or because your cache is getting full, which slows down your computer.

Open the "Tools" menu and choose "Clear Private Data." A new window will appear. Here you will uncheck all of the boxes except for the one next to "Cache." Next click on "Clear Private Data Now." You have the option of deleting other types of private data; if you wish to do so, keep these boxes checked before you click "Clear Private Data Now." The "Clear Private Data" box will disappear when all of your cached files have been deleted. You will be free to re-download any applications that you may have been having issues with at this time.

It's a good idea to know how to clean cache regularly. This keeps space free on your computer and deletes any files which may be corrupted. Of course it may take your computer slightly longer to access web pages that are no longer saved in the cache, but they should be saved in the cache again once you begin visiting them regularly.
