Editing your MySpace profile's HTML coding is one of those things that's simple, yet complex. All you have to do in order to edit your profile's HTML code is log in to your MySpace account and click on the "Edit Profile" link. Depending on your settings, this link will either be displayed right next to your default user picture or under the menu bar on the top of your screen that says "Profile."
You will see all the different sections of your profile, such as your Headline, About Me and so on. All you need to do is click on the link that says "Edit" under each of the various fields and you will be able to freely manipulate the HTML coding for that section of your profile. That's the easy part.
Speaking the Language
The hard part is learning how to speak HTML. HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language, and if you don't know how to speak the language then you're going to royally screw up your MySpace profile. The good thing is that learning HTML isn't as difficult as a lot of other computer coding languages. And something even better than that is the fact that there are tons of websites that will spit out the correct HTML code so you don't have to write it yourself. Then all you have to do is copy and paste the HTML into your MySpace profile.
MySpace Toolbox
MySpace Toolbox is one of the most popular sites that allows users to edit HTML and design unique MySpace profiles. MySpace Toolbox has all sorts of tools that allow users to tweak almost every aspect of their MySpace profiles. There's even a tool you can use if you want to swipe someone else's custom MySpace layout.
Using the basic MySpace profile editor is easier than you might think. Open the editor and use the forms to customize the colors, backgrounds and fonts that you would like to use on your MySpace profile. When you're finished tweaking, click on "Update Code" to update and preview what your page layout will look like. Go back and change things as much as you want. When you have it customized to your liking, just copy the HTML code from the MySpace Toolbox website and paste into your MySpace Profile under the About Me section.
Other MySpace Profile Editors
MySpace Toolbox is one of the most popular sites that lets you customize your own MySpace profile and export it as HTML code. But there are plenty of other sites that offer just about the same services. To find them, just go to your favorite search engine and search for custom MySpace profile generators, or anything along those lines. You will find a near endless amount of MySpace profile generating websites, but most of them pretty much do the same basic things.
