Search Engines

There are many kinds of search engines. Some good ones are Google, Bing, Zaplook, Yahoo, and many more. When you are looking for something on the internet, type what you are looking for into a search engine and it finds links for you.

One good search engine is Google. There are a lot of tabs to make your search more specific. For example, you are looking for a map to your favorite restaurant, so just click on "maps". there are also many different of other tabs. It also has many programs that you can sign up for, like gmail (a free email), or AdSense.

Another search engine would be Bing. Not as much tabs as Google, but more links turn up according to your search. Bing also gives you what is hot, like popular celebrities, or new products and where you can buy them.  

There is also Yahoo. It is not just a search engine, but also email, a place to find out news, make videos and post them, and much more. It is very great for your homepage and many users are very happy with it.

These are all very organized and popular search engines. Obviously, it would be very hard to top Google or Yahoo, but if someone is looking specifically for how to train dogs, they would better search it on a search engine all about dogs so they can get more links to chose from. Now, you must be thinking that it's a good idea to make a search engine, so here is how:

To make a search engine, you need to download a Windows EXE file to get started. Select the file that says the name of your website and press the 'make' button. You should see that file in the 'input list'.  Make sure that the files that you are not using are not checked. Press the 'create' button. 

That was easy! Your search engine should be created. Maybe in some time, your search engine will become as popular as Google or Yahoo.
